Procedure for Accepted Papers
After Acceptance
Once a manuscript is accepted, authors must be certain the final
version of their manuscript is uploaded to Manuscript
Central to prevent any possible version confusion. The manuscript
has be formatted according to the Latex
style file or Word
style file of ACM journals and transactions, and should include:
(a) Categories and
subject descriptors (b) General
Terms (c) additional keywords and phrases. After a
preliminary check of the final manuscript, the authors will be
contacted by the Editor in Chief and asked to email a compressed (zip)
folder containing the production files of
the manuscript, namely the source file with bilbiography, the pdf of
the
Latex file, and all figure files in either eps, tif, gif, or jpg
format. Author communcation will hence move to someone from
the post-acceptance production process at ACM. He/she will contact
authors directly regarding copyediting and any changes required to
prepare for publication.
Once your manuscript is published by ACM, you can access the unique
ACM Author-Izer, which expands
content visibility of your research. This new service lets you
generate and post a link to your published article on your home page or
institutional repository. Through this link any visitors to your
personal bibliography pages can download the definitive version of your
articles for free from the ACM Digital Library. These downloads will be
recorded as part of your DL usage statistics. For further information,
